When a company hires you to represent them but you turn away 1/2 of their customers because you speak your political views, you are likely going to get canned. It's the same when music stars go on a rant during their concerts and hold their audience as innocent captives to their tirades. You just have to wonder what the heck they were thinking.

That being said, there is nothing wrong with criticizing Obama or Bush or any of the dozens of other political figures sitting on their golden DC thrones - there's not one of them who doesn't deserve it at some point in time. But, you need to be cognizant of when it might come back to bite you in the butt.
