this is based from a conversation with Michael and myself quite a while back.
sin is taking apart the word and refashioning it to something it is not
the word is the promise
matter
we can be stupid and say i don't understand
we can be ignorant and say i know buy what can i do about it
and then there is nasty
the result
the problem is this
we have to deal with it to the point we are stuck in it because we are involved so deep in it that as an individual we must go somewhat along or else the resistance is tough and we may be stopped before we can do something about it
when sin is active i can say this
for example
you are told not to
you do it and nothing really noticeable changes right away
so you may repeat it
then you want to do it
then after a while
you start to do it like it has to be this way
consider it like a drug
you know not to
so one day
your guard is down and your in a situation with others whom are involved in something you don't understand properly
you try it
now you may not like it
or you may
but lets say it was so so
then you now believe that it was not so bad as you were told
so now you want to try it again
so you do
k
now time goes on a little further
you become addicted to it
and
you now do it and say hey
it is not bad
i feel normal
you continue
and one day
your feeling a little sick
a little blue or a little nasty
and you think maybe if i could just do it again i will feel normal
until you stop doing it
you wont ever feel normal again
if you don't change soon enough
permanent damage may occur
and you will need it or else the pain will be intolerable
all from not understanding it because of stupidity
then in ignorance you continue
then nasty things are the outcome
if you are looking for a savior outside yourself at this point and don't correct the problem at hand
it will just continue
i can say it like this
a man goes into his doctors office and says Doc you gotta help
what s the problem?
every time i drink coffee i get this shooting pain in my eye
the doctor looks puzzled and says can you show me?
so the man makes himself a coffee and goes to drink from it and screams ouch my eye
the doctor looks in disbelief at the simplicity of the problem, and tells the cause and solution
he says
sir, your spoon is in your cup, try taking it out before you drink your coffee
the man says but i always drink my coffee this way
just give me some medicine to stop the pain
stupid
ignorant
nasty
sin
we cant stop it unless we change what we are doing in the first place
we must address the real problem
sin
sin is to alter something from what it is to what we want
instead of letting it be
we farm
we herd
we dwindle resources
what is a resource?
what does that mean?
is it ours?
or is it what it is
God created the atoms and is the space in which matter moves
the sun is the fire
our sun is just one of many
it has not been here forever it is not the center of the galaxy
we are so old
we are the atoms from the moment of the creation the big bang
how long it took to get from there to here is irrelevant
do we really matter more than a tree or a rock or an animal because we can change things to make them "better for our self?
God continues to create
new stars and galaxies are always appearing from nothing
we are all who we are
the one we are
from the fire for the fire
keeps us warm
lights our path
what we consider time
or being board
what is a mere 100 years to 1 000 000 000 000 000 etc
it is not important
what is
Love
to be there for your brother
to take care of the future of our children's children's children
if we don't stop sinning and " making it better "
we will burn
life needs change to live
it needs balance
it needs harmony
and it needs love
the Na had family/community/respect for earth and the great spirit
sometimes things happen for no apparent reason
sometimes the want of someone else s things makes you take what is not yours
IE our future
we must stop what does not work
we must restart what does
family is the start
community is the next family
what is here now is
it happened
what is to come is our reactions to the current state of our matter
when i was listening to the silence i overheard this a while back this summer
as i was sitting beside Paul at Hoito a man said "change"
to which the reply
" sorry, no change today"

This cannot be accomplished, if you keep shutting away the Desire in shame. This is to lie to yourself, pretending the Desire does not exist. This is trying to FAKE purity.
The Spirit world aint buying it.
No, you have to WORK with the Sin until you're truly done with it, once and for all. This paradoxically means you have to ENGAGE IN THE SINFUL BEHAVIOR, until you are finally fed up with it on a deep level, and the Desire for it has dissipated! This might seem illogical at first, but the fact is, you can't clean anything without dirtying your hands.
Accept the FACT this Desire to Sin is currently a part of you. Because it IS.
Accept and Love yourself precisely as you are, with the Desire still in place.
Accept and Love yourself, even as you're engaging in the Sinful behaviour the Desire leads to, not just "in between Sinning sessions".
All Shame and Guilt must be eradicated, if you are to become Whole and True, which is to become Pure. You must love yourself unconditionally, warts and all!
Then the miracle happens; the warts fall off, and you become purified. You need to Sin no more, because the Desire has left you.
Everyone knows Jesus said: "Love thy neighbor as thyself", but few understand what it means.
Specifically, most people forget all about the "as thyself" part.
Now, if you don't actually love yourself, how are you going to love your neighbor? If you cannot even accept those ugly warts on yourself, how are you going to tolerate them on others?

love will save you from hell
