They probably drummed it up (locksmith and all of course they won't release his name) to garner more fed support or something.

So do the police have to pay for the landlord's now burnt down building?

(serious question, I don't know the answer)

Another Bank of America foreclosure gone wrong.

He was living in a condo, condo was mortgaged to Bank of America. He apparently stopped paying the Homeowners Association fees at around the same time as he went into default on the mortgage. BOA sold the foreclosed property to R&T Financial. R&T Financial were attempting to take possession of the property.

Sad thing is the units were 4-plexes. Four condos went up in flames. If that were my home I would be suing the pants off law enforcement for burning it down.

Wow I would definitely be suing LE for damages to my property.

That is crazy.

Goes to show just buy a regular house with land.

Living in a condo is just like living in a apartment. You have no control over what is happening next door.

Whats next? Bolt action? BB guns?

Are they really that scared?

Watch the news feed and see how scared they actually are.

They are going overkill here.

I heard at least 100 law enforcement are present.... Popcorn

First thing that crossed my mind was show of extreme force and ... What would they have done if a similar incident had taken place after the "all hands on deck" approach was called to this one?

What if this incident had only been intended as a distraction?

I didn't read the entire thread, maybe it was discussed but all I am saying is that this is a poor strategy for LEO to take. They may have some fancy military equipment but they certainly aren't operating as a military operation would.
