How about no? I don't see why other people should have to suffer just because some fatties can't control themselves. What really needs to be done is ease up on the whole PC social mor`e that it's not ok to mock fat people.

If these fatties got slurs yelled at them and were called fat pieces of shit every time they left the house, then I bet you would start to see fewer and fewer of them blocking out the sun.

not fat 190lbs 6 foot
but before got off big pharmas crap hit 320 in 3 month time frame, stayed there for 8 freakin years , till pill pusher thought my health so bad tossed me in their van and drove me to hospital , doc's answer there , ohhh its the drugs they are giving you...here take mine instead

told both to get f'ed
insomnia and panic attacks...started smoking weed as need [bed time and attacks]..solved both issues
and weight with nothing changed , but got off their trash , no new exercise...nothing just quit talking there garbage...
weight dropped off over 6 month time span

my point, not all are fat because of over eatin ...
and pretty narrow minded to think so in my book

drug's pharma gives you[to cause side effects to sell more drugs...we screwed ourselves when profit became over riding factor in health care...capitalist cheering section sorry if you don't agree] are a big part of this issue
there are people with thyroid issues , also
so yeah...
go on with the name calling if it makes you feel big
but keep in mind many have killed them selves because folks like you ,gave them shit for things out of their control
don't give a rat's ass if you agree there cause its pure fact !!!! Dumbass

How about letting people who make bad choices fend for themselves for a change.

It's called personal responsibility.

You want to eat six cheeseburgers for dinner? Boohoo for you when you drop dead of coronary disease at age 42.

The gov't isn't going to "save you". Take some responsibility, America.

Obesity is not about personal choice, it is about a lack of choice. Our food option in this country give the illusion of choice. But it's all shit, no matter what the color of the box is.

I'd say you are spot on! When I ballooned 25 lb. on my small frame, I had no idea why! After the internet gave me a heads up, I learned it was High Fructose Corn Syrup, so I set about eliminating it from the diet. Well, it was almost impossible to find anything in the stores that didn't use it as a sweetener...yogurt, ice cream, juices, cereals, high-protein energy drinks, chocolate syrup, even pickles, catsup, and mayo! It was tough to find anything without that crap in it, but I managed by reading every label so to avoid the offenders, although the choice of decent food was limited.

Monosodium glutamate will put the lbs. on, too. That was almost as hard to avoid as the chemical sweeteners! It took awhile to get the hard fat off, but it got gone. Worse, one of the big honchos at the FDA said it wasn't going to be removed, but more was going to be added!

Our stores are filled with food...that is killing us. Shame on the doctors for not telling us this, and the AMA for being silent as our health goes down the tubes toward an early death. Betcha they don't consume it.

Good idea!
haskins, thank you for your input here. Maybe someone will realize that their medication is what is causing a big weight gain. Glad you got off of it.

RE: 20% 'Fat Tax' Needed to Fight Obesity
A friend of mine has lost nearly a hundred pounds, but her grocery bill has also DOUBLED in the process. It's not cheap to eat healthy, and you have to be a f*ckin rocket scientist to figure out what you should be having. She's lucky to have the money to be able to eat properly, AND have the required skill-set after going to college for it. Yes, she paid to go to college in order to lose weight.
