seems to be up in the northwest (norcal/oregon coast) but those areas aren't really strangers to earthquakes either. it may seem like a pattern due to timing, but that doesn't necessarily mean it is a pattern or that they are related in any. it also doesn't mean that a bigger quake is not fully imminent, earthquakes just happen sometimes, and there is no guarantee as to when the next 'big one' will hit, or where. is the west coast due for a 'big one', well yeah, that's common knowledge, but there is no surefire way of knowing when or where (as stated in the previous). when you hear a earthquake prediction, always remember that earthquakes work at random, so they are not guaranteed to be correct.

No worries Rager nothing wrong with being the voice of reason and your right its just a theory and even if another big earthquake lines up it doesnt prove it true. But it would make sense that magnetic or other forces could impact the planet at key points where our orbit interact with them. Anyways Im no specialist but I think its worth keeping an eye on ya.

Video makes a point similar to the alignment theories, certain alignments during the year create an increased risk for EQ's. When the Elenin hysteria was going on there was some data showing a correspondence with increased earthquake activity - larger quakes - during certain times of the year. Explanation was a planetary or larger body entering the solar system. This seems to continue that line of conjecture.
Well if there is a big quake between 10 and 30 March, it would be more confirmation of this possibility.
