Whats with the picture of her with the horse? Did you see the weird cropping around the hair and the misplaced light on the hairs edge which make it stand out? It appears they cropped a picture of her face and a little hair and placed it on another person. Also her breasts appear to have changed a bit between that picture and the first one which looks like a full complete person (I haven't looked at it with a scrutinizing eye though, I used my sexual aesthetic eye for that one).

True enough. You must not remember being that age, though. There are lots of people, hard core cyclists, who ride their bikes everywhere, at all hours. The most dangerous thing about that is being hit by a car, but people still cycle. It's risky, though, and I agree with you. And, you're right about that neighborhood. I read that there was an influx of New Orleans lowlife after Katrina. There are also hundreds of registered sex offenders in the area. That said, a predator can come from anywhere.

I read a disturbing but unconfirmed account somewhere else:

Since Monday morning when I first saw the report I thought something wasn't right. I didn't think she ever went out the back door and got on her bike, but I heard something today that got me thinking in a different direction. I was at a store today around 2pm and was talking to the lady running the counter trying to find out about the what the dogs found or didn't find, knowing that if they were using bloodhounds the chances of picking up Mickey's scent would be very very high. She tells me no word on the dogs but there is a woman who said, earlier on the same night, she was riding her bike in the same area when she noticed a green van that gave her a bad feeling. Just before the girl got to a busier section of the road the van pulled up and blocked her way, then took off like something spooked the van away. The store clerk said all she knew was it was a green van with TN plates, and the girl on the bike was giving her information to police. It's been bothering me since I heard this, I've been following it almost non-stop since.

Sometimes the family might provide further information to their local newspaper, but the cops discourage this because they want to control the flow of information. If there are errors in these types of stories, 99.9995% of the time it is because the cops PURPOSELY gave out false or misleading information.

Realize that the MSM is controlled by very, very few people. Almost every story comes from the wire services like AP and Reuters. The stories are then rewritten by various news outlets and presented as their own. Sometimes a reporter may dig a bit deeper or add more background. But in reality, very few people are providing the stories.

Even things like the presidential election are not actually "monitored" by the news organizations. There is ONE company that does the exit polling and they sell the results to every single channel who makes some big dramatic announcement like, "CNN has analyzed the data of their exit polling and can declare Barak Obama the winner with 1% of the precincts reporting." This is a rabbit hole you don't want to go down because it will show you just how f*cked up the news business is and how there is no integrity in any of it.

You are exactly right. Most of these stories dont become "local" until they are picked up from the wire, 2 recent examples that I traced back were the "Facebook" murders and the 33 year old with 30 kids, both out of Tennessee. The Facebook thing was enhanced with a dozen photoshopped pics, a fake scene of the crime, and a murder suspect in court wearing sunglasses. Are you f*cking kidding me?

Oh yeah, the 4 "drunk" moms in Chicago on Mothers Day....fake as f*ck and picked up off the wire. Check out these photos. Its almost funny if it werent so pathetically obvious.

Even the horse looks placed -- notice the weird color change around the horses mane.

We rarely see these any more and then the story just drops off the radar. It's like the MSM uses it for the emotional appeal and when that's over and done with, the story is no longer valuable.

My favorite fake story is the Gravesend Kent "raped baby" from last November. I tried to tell everybody it was fake, but thousands and thousands of dollars were donated to god knows who, vigils were held, teddy bears were left at the abandoned house where the alleged crime happened, then....POOF. It disappeared. There was never any friggin baby, no rapers, and the house it supposedly happened at had been abandoned for 2 years. spork! Some people wanted to have me killed for the stuff I posted on poor little baby "Max" Facebook page. Jptdknpa

BTW, Tavistock got over 20,000 sigs on a petition to send these baby rapers to the gallows. And that was really cool cause they dont even have the death penalty in the UK. LMAO

I so agree about media fakery, media pimping of "heart breaking" stories, etc, but that doesn't mean that people don't get abducted and murdered. What the media does or doesn't do, and their mind control motivations, has no bearing on the victims/crimes/stories that they exploit. You have to learn to separate the two. To sneer at this girl because of the bullshit the press does is like sneering at Ron Paul because of the media coverage about him.

I think I said it in thread - I had a friend whose only child, her 27 year old daughter, was attacked and murdered. This shit happens. What the press does with these stories is ANOTHER MATTER.

You don't get it. They are manipulating an emotional response in you for their own benefit. They use these people's tragedies (whether real or faked) in order to get the response.

Whether I feel sorry for Michaela or not won't mean diddly squat to her or her family. It won't solve the case, and it won't bring her home.

However, if they are playing on my emotions, refusing to react thwarts their agenda.
