That be a swarm right after three 6+ quakes in the Molucca Sea in eastern Indonesia.

I have heard that it is good when there are a group of small earthquakes because it relieves the stress for a big one.

Anyway, being from So. Calif, any quake under 6 is not a big deal.

Same.. I am in spring valley. Felt a very short quake maybe two minutes ago.

I saw this swarm when it was first starting. Had the whole thought process of "What happens if they get stronger?" and dismissed it. Looks like they actually did.

I doubt they'll get much higher though. Or should I say hope.

They get any bigger down there, and I'll be feeling them where I'm located well north of there.

5.3 magnitude earthquake in Brawley, CA, followed by another 4.9 within about 2 minutes shortly thereafter in the same vicinity.

It appears there is a quake "swarm" going on in Imperial County, Southern CA:
