6 teen girls who allegedly beat disabled woman in custody. This is our future....

A number of women, mothers, aunts and grandmothers were in the courtroom for the brief proceeding. One, Henderson’s mother, called out to her daughter as she was being escorted out. “I love you,” she shouted. “I love you, too, mom,” Henderson called out. Several other relatives, angry about the arrest, claimed the girls were just “acting like kids.” “They acted like kids,” said the aunt of one of the accused. “It’s not like they killed somebody.” The girls are slated to have a preliminary hearing on Oct. 1.
The video, which is graphic and laced with obscenities, was released by Chester police. It shows the group of girls gathered on a sidewalk about 30 feet from the victim. The teens can be heard rapping, laughing and planning their attack.Seconds later, the six girls swarm in on the woman, leading with their fists, then picking up chairs and other makeshift weapons as they pounced. “Get off of me,” the victim screams as the girls push and drag her inside the first-floor apartment in the 1100 block of Morton Avenue, cornering her on a couch. They mock the woman and beat her as she tries, unsuccessfully, to defend herself. “This house is going down,” yelled one of the attackers, as they tear apart the tiny apartment. One of the teens recorded the entire incident on her cellphone and later posted it on Facebook. “There is absolutely no reason for behavior like this,” said Nolan, who is leading the investigation with city Juvenile Officer John Kuryan. Nolan noted that in the beginning of the video, the teens are heard saying what they planned to do to the woman and who was going to videotape the attack. The victim did not call police. She did, however, seek medical attention, police said. Bail said the victim was taken to a secure location. Investigators only learned of the incident when a parent of a local teenager saw the video on Facebook and called the police department’s juvenile division about 9 a.m. Thursday. Authorities say the suspects bragged to their friends about what they had done. “It took us most of the morning to find the victim,” Nolan said. The victim, whose name is being withheld, told neighbors she was going to move. She was too afraid to stay, they said. Len Worby, who lives in the apartment above the victim, said the incident was the second in as many weeks. “She got beat up about two weeks ago,” Worby said. “Someone hit her over the head with a gun.” The victim’s efficiency apartment was still in shambles Thursday morning. What few furnishings there were inside appeared to have been tossed about. Her medications were sitting on a table by the front door, near an open box of Cheez-It crackers, the contents of which had been smashed into the carpet. Joyce Johnson and Ebony Prince live in the Sun Village neighborhood where the attack occurred. The women said they know the victim and were appalled at the viciousness of the attack. “She sits here all day, every day,” said Johnson. “She is different,” added Prince. “She walks around barefoot all the time, but people try to help her out.” “There is no excuse for this,” she added angrily. “I live here and I’m embarrassed.” Both women pointed out that the victim’s apartment is only feet away from a busy corner store. They wondered aloud how no one saw or heard what was happening. City police Capt. Anita Amaro said not one call was placed to the police department about the attack, but investigators would be reviewing surveillance video from the corner store to aid in the investigation. The crucial piece of evidence is the violent video provided by the suspects themselves. According to Bail, had the parent not come forward with the video, the crime could have gone unnoticed.

Appears not, the kids even seem as stupid as their relatives considering they posted the vid on facebook. But then again where they live its just acting like a kid.
