I would say that the theory that these were government issued planes and not passenger planes makes sense. Some witnesses said there were no windows, and looked like something from the military. Someone from the media even reported it on that day.

Problem is that a study found that 50% believe what they see on tv rather than what they actually saw:

It was a very traumatic thing, I'm sure you'll find somebody who can give you a clear description about actually being there and how it all went down.

Like I said, the more you think there were no planes, the less likely you would believe even if somebody gave you a eerily accurate description of what went down (something somebody there would only know).

Keep all options available.
