If one is honest and truly seeking any sort of lasting wisdom...their thoughts and positions will change about every 7-10 years, sometimes much more often. As they get older, they'll look back and laugh at themselves.
With time, everything becomes comical.

I know this to be true.

At 20, i thought i knew everything.

At 30, i knew that i knew everything. ;)

At 40, i realised that despite all that i knew, there was so much more to be learned.

At 50, i understood that we know f*ck all.

At 60, it dawned on me, that knowledge is wasted if you are unable to use it, kind of a burden.

chuckle

I ain't lookin forward to 70. :(

Lmao

Ya need to write your book.

I sometimes do that now, I think of how I was during my school years and compare it to how I am now, with the knowledge I have now.

It's kind of funny, just to think of how differently things could have been back then with the stuff I know now.

And when we understand, we understand that we should never understand again.

Slightly wrong . . .

And when we understand, we understand that we shall never understand again.

That's the comically cosmic universal catch-22....You can't know then what you know now because if you did, you wouldn't really now know.

Talk about a mental headlock chuckle
When I think of it, I think of a "butterfly effect" scenario: If I had the ability to change things in the past....would I? Things might not be good for me now, but if I went back and changed something it would alter the present and possibly make things WORSE.

Everything happens for a reason.
