A question for the ladies..
Are you SICK AND TIRED about being judged on the way you look? Is this 'judgement' an impediment to the expression of your femininity?
I am a guy, I would like to know your story. Spill it :-)

RE: A question for the ladies..
It doesn't bother me because I don't care.
The only person I try to impress is Mr. Sunny.

RE: A question for the ladies..
It's clear most women love the attention.
If they didn't - why would they wear make-up, heels, and all that uncomfortable clothing?
All people want are others acceptance.
When in the end, all you need is acceptance of yourself, from yourself.

You have to understand that is how young girls are raised. From the time they are born their reason for existence is that they are "beautiful" or "pretty".
Boys get told, they are smart, funny, talented, witty, honorable, giving, etc.
Outer beauty is all a girl gets to know about herself. Add that with media confirming to her that her body is all that is important and that is what you get.
If she doesn't have that, she doesn't have anything.

Oh, I'm completely aware of the environment which dictates our actions.
So sad though!
I mean, confidence in this society is gained by acting like a fool.
How does having an IQ of 80, a lack of morality, and no structure promote self confidence?
This world is so broken, I would cry - however it appears funny in my eyes that human beings with freewill and free thought are incapable of having a unique idea.
Oh, and the beliefs we carry make me feel as if we deserve this outcome.

This is so true and sad. When I encounter a western girl, I feel the barricades of judgement grow between us. But as I lose all that is false and not real through the emergence of being in her presence, I connect with something much deeper, much more powerful and beautiful than anything that the eye can see. It is a pity western women have these barricades, as they are barricading themselves into something that is a prison..

I have come to agree with this sentiment. I personally try very hard to uphold sound judgement and good morals, yet I am constantly disappointing myself with my own thoughts. I often feel like I deserve exactly what's coming because I have failed so many times when I could not control the outcome of my thoughts.
Our thoughts determine our actions and our actions determine our character.

Do not become angry at yourself for your programmed responses to leak out.
You are trying to better yourself!
It's hard to break the mold!
People like US (who try to improve our value system) do not deserve this outcome.
Because if everyone put effort into this, the outcome that's coming would never happen.
Don't blame yourself, be yourself - accept it.
But, you sure as hell don't have to accept the world for the way it is!
...Things should NOT be this way...We are out of balance, and external forces have been, and will continue to try to recalibrate this.
However, I'm sure the longer we take - the more intense the re-balance will be.

In essence, it is not really who we are, but how we have been conditioned to conform to something that is etched with sexual energy, but that is unobtainable. This leads to a disintegration, to depression and an inability to express through feeling and true love. It is unconsciousness that seeks to become conscious...

easier said than done. I've lost a lot of the fire inside me in part due to the world events and the people that have let me down in ways I never thought imaginable. That combined with battling an illness and trying to look at the bright side has pretty much extinguished my spirit. I pretty much exist to help the ones I love. But I no longer think the future has anything to offer me. Nor do i think I have anything to offer the future. My thoughts just keep getting more corrupted as time passes.

I am not sure people know what love is anymore. Sex seems to be what everyone is after. And they are never satisfied with just one person, I call it sexual consumerism with an easy return policy. People are disposable.

RE: A question for the ladies..
My guy told me I was beautiful at 4 this morning... hair all messed up, groggy, in pj's... so no I really don't care as long as he's happy then I am :)
Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things but look at what they can do when they stick together.
