And the Senate just seceded their right to vet appointees the other day...

I think dissolution of our current government is in order...

King isn't the word, he wants to be Emperor Obama and is doing everything to be just that. These times are unbelievable. He is following in the steps of Hitler with his every action. What kills me is that we are sitting idly by as his plans unfold like a dark flower ready to bear fruit. This song says it best and I think you know what I mean...

This is why Obama must be defeated in November!
Romney as a Republican can't pull this kind of shit
With no re-election fears, four more years of Obama would be a nightmare!!

Sometime in the next 25 years: The executive order to completely abolish those other 2 pesky, outdated and worthless branches of government.

And people will cheer it on.

Yes I see some sort of weird reversal that will happen...evil congress cares nothing of you, I the mighty emperor solely have your best interest at heart so I hearby claim my word to be rule of law.

What's the point of congress of the president can just issue executive orders?

To keep the illusion that we are still in a Republic?

The point of congress is to represent and legally execute the will of the people. Our system was setup with different branches of power as a system of checks and balances. No single group is supposed to have infinite power to get their way without compromise or agreement from the other legislative branches. The president has executive power to write orders, but it's an understood rule that he's supposed to reserve that power for national security issues and emergencies, not because he's a whiny b*tch who can't get his way on everything he wants. Not sure if this bill rises to the qualification of being a national emergency. I just see it as one more way he's shitting on our constitution and nobody seems to care.

Scream1 S977 Agumball Rant Arrggghhh, what part of the balance of power in the Constitution doesn't Bam-Bam the wanna be boy king understand???

Here's a freaking clue Bam-Bam, if the House and Senate doesn't pass something and you decide to do an Executive Order, that is un-Constitutional and NOT the way the balance of power SHOULD operate.

Tissue Ahhh, crap why do I even bother? No matter what us peons think the puppet at 1600 will do as his master's bid him to do. Does Congress stand up and impeach him on ANY of his crap? No. Does the MSM ever hold his feet to the fire? No, with the slight exception of Fox News, but then they do overkill on it.

WTF needs to be done to stop this?!?

I'm with you 150% on everything you said. This is getting painful watching the insurgent emperor destroying our republic. We just have to make sure everyone gets off their asses and votes him out on November 6th.

Everything our senators and representatives do is for self-serving power. They do insider trading and profit from it. They get paid off and schmoozed by lobbyists and profit from it. They leave office and become lobbyists and profit from it. They have an executive level healthcare system in perpetuity that they'll never pay for. They consider themselves elite overlords and they don't give a shit about us little people. Best example - David Dewhurst the current Lt. Governor in Texas just spent over $19 million to win a runoff for the Texas senate seat. Who spends that kind of money to get a $250k a year job???

Hey Ice, welcome to the forum and discussion. You seem to understand.

I do realize the EP has been used numerous times by several prezs but if those that understand still can't figure it out, there is no hope.

It really is.
