I have a little cognitive dissonance thinking that the US government and its allies could do this to the people of the world just for the sake of playing war games and setting fascist states.

The game can't last much longer though, everybody feels more threatened by the TSA than by Al Qaeda. The more outlandish the threats, the more the boogeyman loses its power.

I dont know about Al Qaeda specifically, but I do know first hand that there has always been, IS, and will in all likelihood continue to be a very real and viable terrorist threat to most, if not all, parts of the world.

That being said, the truth is that the governments of the US and many other nations are filled to the brim with evil men who will do, say or use ANYTHING to get what they want... And what they want seems to coincide with what many real terrorist organizations want... An end to our freedom and our way of life.
