* The tax payers are picking up the clean up bill for the Gulf disaster. BP doesn't even pay taxes here.

* The Fukushima (and beyond) residents OWN the radiation.
It's not Tepco's issue.

* Monsanto's crops pollute other crops and they sue the neighbors for copyright infringement instead of compensating them for the damages.

large corporations and citizens?

The 'scientific spin' on things and 'critical thinking' assist the large corporations to avoid taking financial responsibility for their actions. That's why it's so abundant in main stream media and even on conspiracy boards. I bet some peeps are even paid to kill the truth while they promote these ideas. Other peeps think they're intelligent for thinking scientifically and skeptically, but they may simply

be programmed by the media

and crooked, well-paid scientists.

Any idea how much money

Maybe the deaths are from the methane gas.

So is methane in the arctic and near Alaska suffocating marine life and
creating "dead zones" where oxygen is so depleted that nothing lives. And that is a good possibility the reason the seals have died.

Look, I agree that Fukushima will kill us all...if we live that long...

But, this isn't a slam dunk Fuku did it. The extreme Northern areas have less protection from solar radiation...to me that seems a more likely explanation (and really, kind of worse than Fuku, if you think about it.) But why isn't there this sort of problem on more animals closer to Fuku?
