Last time I did look at a map of the world, it included North America, Central America and South America.

To be honest Canada and Mexico are puppet states to the U.S. They are basicly states. Then again the U.S is a puppet state to England and England is puppet to Rome. So meh. Everybody is somebody else's b*tch.

Not only do americans use the term but people from around the world.
There is plenty wrong with americans but this is as stupid as arguing against language.
When someone say "those americans" do you think "people from the western hemisphere on one of two continents"?
