They only mentioned it very briefly on air a couple hours ago and nothing since. Seems like they're holding back now. Maybe they're hoping police there will actually break it up quickly before it becomes a bigger deal? Maybe they have been "ordered" to back off the story because its already a big deal and its counter productive of their campaign to down play the amount of anti-American sentiment in the middle east, so to justify sending those marines we know wont be returning soon and is likely only the deployment and will likely be some type of peace restoring occupation. Hhhhmmmm.... I wonder what will happen next?

Australians are protesting probably because they want the film to be released sooner. They don't want wait more months. chuckle

Cnn finally just mentioned the Australia riots again. This time even more briefly and trivialized, with a smirk, this situation stating it was just one of the many places rioting around our embassies[they use the word protest but show riot images,] Then they show a map of the 20 or so cities in the middle east emphasizing predominantly Muslim regions as the focal point of insurrection. ..Strange Sydney Australia is nowhere near the middle east!?

They ended the brief segment by emphatically talking about kate middleton's tits in a jovial manner. It made me want to slap a ho!

..again just mentioned with a very somber demeanor Australia riots and in as many words[on a positive note] said "but Egyptian riots are calming down today!"[they showed no image] ..All this took place in less then 10 seconds and then back to being happy about kate middleton's tits!

I'm guessing they will stick to this type of protocol regarding this story as long as they can. I wonder if things in Egypt are really calming down like the reporter "mentioned" ??? It sure doesn't look like it in their images and no one else is reporting that? Maybe that was the "machines" way of breaking it to us that its calming down their and is "safe" to send our troops these actually friendly places. That is, if any of them in particular need fixin'!

Wait...I thought everyone was saying that Muslims in developed countries become Americanized or melt into their country's melting pot and are not like the ones in less developed countries.

I guess that theory gets throw out.

As long as people allow things like this film to infuriate them, other people will say and do things to infuriate them. Only when people stop allowing themselves to be offended will others cease to offend them. No reaction, no point. If I refuse to let myself be provoked, then no one can provoke me. It's all up to me, then, for there will always be provocation and provokateers.

The sad thing about this is that when the citizens of the host countries finally wake up and retaliate, they will also strike out at those who have gone there with honest intent to become a part of that country. When push comes to shove people will be judged by their apparent ethnicity.
