RE: Anyone Bitcoin Here?
here ya go dude. this is a great idea:

"If Bitcoin were to become the alternative to PayPal and U.S.-based credit cards for getting cyberlocker services it would mean that there would be money flowing into outfits that exchanged and traded in bitcoins. This means that they’d have a reason to make their systems more stable, the currency itself would find a happy medium with a larger critical mass of trading going on, and we’d see innovation taking advantage of the presence of money flow.

It’s worth to note that the market for bitcoins is already extant, it functions, and it’s survived several major upheavals (including losses of bitcoins, hacking, and even market crashes) and we’ve seen it used in the real world for trading and for selling products.

If Kim Dotcom uses his celebrity to bring attention to the use of Bitcoins for cyberlocker access, welding the two together will most likely bring both out with a much bigger market than before and make both of them much more resilient to economic siege by the copyright industry."

Here is the problem:

Bitcoin is already known for facilitating illicit drug purchases on TOR. That's a fact.

If/when the Yiddishfellows in control of international finance decided Bitcoin was a threat, you would soon see the Western .gov's equate bitcoin mining or transactions to terrorism and quickly make it illegal. Inspecting those packets on the major carrier networks would be a very simple endeavor.

Good luck.

Thanks Lucky... But wouldn't that logic mean that they would have to Shut down the USD as well?

Other facts r this.... the USD is the Biggest Drug Currency there has Ever been....Also the CIA are the Main Drug Traffickers of the world !

Yet the USD still goes fourth ( May end soon though)

Interesting times indeed....

No, indeed, the USD has been a boon to yon Hymie.

They will shut down any true threats to their illegal enterprise by whatever pretense they decide.

I know someone will argue that SSL & proxies will keep them safe when that time comes. To that I say: chuckle

Digital money, fiat, all worthless and to easy to disappear or devalue. Give me old fashioned silver or gold that I can hold in my hands.

RE: Anyone Bitcoin Here?
To make mining profitable you must have multiple machines with some very expensive graphics cards... You must make more than it costs in power during the operations. And there is a finite amount of bitcoins even available. In my opinion, mining could be a hobby... But not profitable. You can buy drugs on the dark web with em... Lol.

RE: Anyone Bitcoin Here?
fiat currency is dandy...its the not understanding it that is the problem...

lets just say everything worked the same as it does now

without the war, war on drugs, needless borrowing etc... all the money as debt scam

THE NUMBER ONE ROLE OF GOVERNMENT IS TO PROTECT A CLEAN DEBT FREE CURRENCY FOR THE PEOPLE TO USE IN A FREE MARKET

MONEY IS NOT TO BE A PRODUCT

you do not need a pile of anything backing the currency

the currency is good because we say it is

we and other have FAITH that the currency is good because we pay our bills, amung ourselves and our foreign debts

basically imagine it just the way it is now

BUT

instaed of a private fr profit bank making money making money

WE THE PEOPLE PREPAY WITH APPORTIONED TAX {LIKE 1$ EACH A YEAR, 300 MILLION BUDGET TO RUN A KINKOS'}TO PRINT OUR PAPER, CEBT FREE

ONLY SMALL UNAPPORTIONED TAXES NEED BE LEVEID IN ORDER TO PAY FOR THE SERVICES WE NEED

NO SLAVE PAY TO BANKERS

BELIEVE IN YOURSELVES, YOU THINK YO DO BECAUSE YOU THINK "GOVERNMENT" MKES THE MONEY

FACE THE FACTS YOU LIVE A LIE, TEACH OTHER PEOPLE

DROP THE CURRENCY

CREATE YOUR OWN, TAKE BACK YOUR MILITARY, TAKE BACK YOUR COUNTRY

Interesting. Didn't know they had physical.

So what is the difference between bitcoons-real coins- and say arcade tokens???

This is actually pretty cool.

Quote:HOW THEY WORK: The "private key" is on a card embedded inside the coin and is protected by a tamper-evident hologram. The hologram leaves behind a honeycomb pattern if it is peeled. If the hologram is intact, the bitcoin is good.

The 8-character code you see on the outside of the coin is the first eight characters of the Bitcoin address assigned specifically to that coin. You can verify the coin's balance on Block Explorer. There is a mathematical relationship between the Bitcoin address and the private key inside the coin. The digital bitcoin is actually located on the public "block chain" stored on the internet, but it is completely inaccessible to anyone unless the private key from the coin is loaded into a Bitcoin wallet.

If you need to recover the digital bitcoins, there are several ways to convert the embedded code back into a digital bitcoin so it can be spent over the internet. Most importantly, none of the methods relies on me or any other central issuer, due to Bitcoin's completely decentralized design. The embedded private key code is everything a Bitcoin node needs to find and claim the digital Bitcoins from the peer-to-peer network. For example, you can enter (or "import") your coin's private key code directly into Bitcoin clients such as Armory, Blockchain.info, or directly into Mt. Gox as a deposit method. (Casascius coins use the "minikey" private key format, and the main Bitcoin.org client does not yet support redeeming minikeys.)
