Anyone With AVG Antivirus Show the USPS Website as a Blocked Potential Phishing Site?
Everytime I try to go to USPS.com to track a package, my antivirus says that it may be a fake site designed to look like an official site and it stops me from going to it. Any ideas? I just had a virus attempt found yesterday, is it possible my computer was infected? I scanned with Malwarebytes and everything was ok.

Yep. It was blocked for me, too, using IE and Chrome.

I think I might have picked up a virus. I'm doing a system restore to 5 days ago. It was a virus designed to look like an Adobe Flash Update. I thought I stopped it in time.... maybe not....

I used to used AVG and Avast, both were really disappointing to me. Neither one ever seemed to block me from getting viruses.

Now I pay the 40 bucks a year for Norton, and it is well worth it. I have been using it for almost 2 years, and not picked up a single virus.

Do you have Vista? My XP computer didn't show it as blocked. What did the page look like when it blocked you?

I'm not sure what that is. I'm not using the AVG toolbar.

On the browser left click on tools should be the last entry- AVG do not track
It would not allow a lot of sites to load if they tried to track me.
It uses a "Do not track http website header" so some places would not load or it triggers an AVG alert.

I don't see "Do Not Track" anywhere in my browser or in AVG. This is just a very recent thing. I was able to track the package a couple days ago.
