RE: Anyone building your own LENR reactor ... yet?
From WIKI:
By late 1989, most scientists considered cold fusion claims dead, and cold fusion subsequently gained a reputation as pathological science. In 1989, a review panel organized by the US Department of Energy (DOE) found that the evidence for the discovery of a new nuclear process was not persuasive enough to start a special program, but was "sympathetic toward modest support" for experiments "within the present funding system." A second DOE review, convened in 2004 to look at new research, reached conclusions similar to the first.]
A small community of researchers continues to investigate cold fusion, now often preferring the designation low-energy nuclear reactions (LENR). They have reported that, "under certain extreme conditions", they observe excess heat effects by interaction of hydrogen or deuterium with palladium, nickel or platinum. However, they cannot explain these observations and have not demonstrated reliable replication of the effects. Since cold fusion articles are rarely published in refereed scientific journals, the results do not receive as much scrutiny as more mainstream topics, and many scientists are not even aware that there is ongoing research.
Maybe someday someone will demonstrate a model with results that can be repeated, but until then ....

These guys say the can reproduce their experiments consistantly

I can't believe word is not getting out. Hold on to your butt cause the world we know is about to change.....
Dr. Peter Hagelstein at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) can been running a very small test reactor since January. The technology works. It works so well, that three companies are neck and neck to bring this tech to market within a year.

rossi's cat-c reactor in italy has been running on its own for about 50 days now. It produces only heat, about 1200F, hooking it to a generator will be next year. He uses nickle powder and a catlyist.
He's not going to tell you rverything, because he wants to market it.
Look at PESN to find out.
Meanwhile, the rest of us are trying all kinds of stuff to catch up.

I'm still waiting on the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to grant my license to load the 2 boxes of baking soda and 4 "D" cell batteries in the device !

Reminds me of that statement in "The Grinch That Stole Christmas" where the Grinch says the things he is going to do today and one of them is solve world hunger - and tell no one.

to the guy that says 'they haven't demonstrated reliable duplicateable results'
Go to JLN labs, and look at bingo fuel. Its been duplicated many times.

The potential for this technology to deal with radioactive waste is so needed at this time.
