Anyone else feeling blasé/detached about everything?
Definition of blasé:

1. Uninterested because of frequent exposure or indulgence.
2. Unconcerned; nonchalant:

1. indifferent to something because of familiarity or surfeit
2. lacking enthusiasm; bored

Just wondering as I have been lurking and reading threads, nothing is really capturing my attention or motivating me to respond further. There is absolutely nothing on any of the stations that is holding my attention either. I feel fine otherwise, just a feeling of separateness / unconcern with anyone outside of my children and husband. Just can't shake the need to "nest" with my family only.

I liken the feeling to being at the end of the road and there's no 42'n chairs/stumps/rocks to sit on. chuckle

It's the Hurry up and Wait concept of the Armed Forces! Jptdknpa

Not sure what you mean by completing the circle, would you be able to elucidate further?

It does have somewhat a feeling of "completion" but, normally such a feeling also brings a sense of accomplishment, I just strongly want to only be around my family. Very strange for me as I enjoy learning new things and have new experiences.

chuckle I'm up in Northern Indiana, our hills are actually around 25 to 30 degree angles up here.

So no one else has the same sense of "nesting"? It is a very pervasive feeling, guess it must be only me then. Tissue Hiding

It's the actual hijacking and running code that makes it illegal (and I have the hard evidence of exactly that)- there's laws against that ya know... otherwise I would have turned to hacking a long time ago.

Jhikpghf Another good way of describing it.

Yuck...I normally thrive on stimulating intellectual discussions, such as the concepts in Sickscent's threads; I just don't feel like exercising my thoughts esoterically right now. Sigh

I've been the opposite, been on edge, and can't sleep. Have had some disturbing dreams the past few months with a re-occurring theme.
