I know its an odd question. But I do. And cant help it. It's an automatic reflex response with me.

To the point my kids always knew not to sneak up and tickle me.

And my daughter acutally posted this on my facebook this morning LOL, saying that when she saw it, she immediately thought of me.

Is this normal? Does anyone else do this?

Its time to move on from this long section of my life, for good. I've learned alot. Found myself. And found my voice. Much of that helped by the aid of these communities. I just can no longer tolerate being manipulated, and it is happening to all of us on these forums, no matter how much you think you are above it. Hugs

I hate being tickled too. My dad used to sit on me and tickle me. I believe it is a form of torture. When my (ex)husband tried that with me I clocked him with a head butt to the forehead so hard that it made him see stars.

He never tried that again. S977

Yeh.. I understand that.

The ONLY time that I'm not HIGHLY ticklish, is during... uh... certain intimate moments...

chuckle

But it can suck sometimes, because if the mood dampens the slightest, and Im not completely into it, a little giggle can slip out. Thank God my hubby knows me well enough and he just grins about it.

1dunno1 I am not one to make up stories, but have it your way.

No one who knows me personally would disbelieve, they know I am a hard-head figuratively and literally.

There's a good reason why people use the maneuver defensively.

RE: Anyone else respond violently when Tickled??
when it comes to reflexive reactions, they tend to occur without control or thought, sometimes you do stuff you never would but there is a huge difference between doing something uncontrollably and non-intentionally than as a release, with thought, or on purpose

For the more adventurous amongst us good heavy restraints solve that problem :-)
Its only torture for the first few minutes, then its a trip.
