The idea of the tulpa is not so provocative when we consider that within buddhist and hermetic philosophy in particular, the manifest world is held as purely mind or mental, with every physical thing being merely the outward expression of non-physical thoughtforms. So, a tulpa is simply a localized thoughtform within the grand thought-form. A dream within a dream.

I once meet my unconscious mind on an acid trip. A way to explore what is normally hidden from you is to write a question on a piece of paper and put it in you pocket just before you drop the trip.

Some questions are unwise to ask as you don't understand the consequences until afterwards.
When I connected with my unconscious mind [I asked What am I exactly? on my piece of paper] I found that I knew everything and I was literally making the universe I perceived as my unconscious mind reacted to my conscious mind.

There is not joy or surprise when you realize this [there was a lot of information conveyed to me at the time and meeting my mind was one of the last things on the trip] We have to forget and disconnect to enjoy what we have here. What is real and what just appears to be real is one of the lessons of the experience.

I had for a time escaped the Matrix we live in. Having no clear objective at that time and not knowing what to do I decided [in a little fear/worry] to come back.
In order to do this I had to sever the connection and forget.

I wanted to remember what I had learned or the trip wold have been a waste of time.
We live in a mental reality infinitely flexible made of chaos and order, we dwell within an Order and order is limited, it cannot comprehend Chaos and this is why we cannot understand much of what goes on around us in the greater picture.

It is the Ordered and Rational mind we have to use to escape the unconscious knowing mind.

So in the environment I had constructed in my mind [looked the same as one room in my house] I walked the boarder and every circuit I made myself forget a little more. I also made a mental pipeline so I could remember what happened [seemed important]

I got down to a point where I realized I was going to have to construct my new environment and I could have anything I wanted, literally anything and position in society and amount of wealth and in doing so I realized I already had, I had already written the perfect story tailored to suit me.

So I came back to my old life with a greater appreciation of many things going on at many levels.

If I had retained my connection [direct input] with my unconscious mind [the knowing mind] then I would have had to have been in control of the entire environment at all times [eventually I clicked this is what it is all about] all bar the other consciousness we exist with.

Life loses it's richness when this happens, we are addicted to this life of excitement and it becomes our prison.

We are but a tiny piece of our greater consciousness which appears to be the rest of the universe. We observe the universe and are affected by it and it in turn is affected by our perception of it. Quantum Feed back this has been called.

I feel pretty silly about the whole thing as many practitioners of deep meditations are seeking to do what I did, connect with their true self and I foolishly came back.
When Buddhist Monks try to ascend to nirvana and die a physical death that is what they are trying to achieve.

The truth of our existence is we are mind.

Been a little busy. Moved house and MD changed jobs and was off line for two weeks.
The net doesn't have the same hold it once did over me now, I could go without it.

Nice to see you. Not always a lot that grabs my interest here at times and I am saving all my interesting thoughts and threads ATM for a later date.

Some damn interesting people with interesting ideas here though, got to balance the meat world with the cyber world.
A lot more opportunities in the meat world for me ATM where we are currently living just 12 kilometers outside my home town but well in the country away from traffic and street lights.

I am always torn between the two existences, the mind is the true existence but the physical is where I am right now and the Mind is where I am going to be.
Which to do dedicate the most time to?
Both is my answer for now.

Perhaps the wisest tulpas can create a soul vehicle for themselves and begin this sacred journey just like anyone else. Is it conceivable that they can attain spirit through personal endeavor, in a similar manner to the gnostic physics? Hermetically speaking we are all thought forms anyways... we are all emanations in the mental universe... all thoughtforms of the divine. Am i a tulpa?
