For high end gaming computers this is common. Processor, Video card etc. will all be lower spec. Most manufacturers sell online.

open em up and look inside. all electronics nowadays are surface mount chips soldered by robots to the boards. not much difference inside.

You do realize big retailers order in bulk to their own specifications to cut costs?
They are all made in the same factories. If you don't know the difference in Processors or Video cards then it will make no difference to you. For posting on this forum they are pretty much the same.

Fry's Electronics in the bay area is by far the best electronics store I've ever been to.

calm down, this is the 21st century and yes virginia robots solder electronics in chinese factories. all you must do is remove the screws on your product (as id did) and look inside. you will see, as i did, a circuit board with chips on. you will find it is the same in all the products that you buy at your retailers (super high end stuff that is really expensive will have more expensive chips inside, but ignore such talk for now). the magic elves that make the sound and pictures, like santa claus, do not actually exist.

Sears had a Vizio LCD a few years back, it was nice and sturdy.

Walmart had the exact same TV but you could FLEX the ENTIRE screen by pushing in on the corner, that and the bezel looked like a f*cking washboard, all wavy and shit.

Better off going to Target or Sears.

On second thought just go to Target, Sears will file for chapter 11 soon anyways.
