Shit, maybe Russell Pearce had him taken out. They did have some beef recently and Pearce is trying to get his Senate seat back...

Okay, this is getting really creepy with the Pearce/Ready connection...

So it seams that Pearce denounced Ready in '08 and Ready was not too thrilled about it. I've also heard that Pearce "groomed" Ready for public office. Weird choice of words there - "groomed".

He might of had some dirt on Pearce since they were such buds. Pearce tried to downplay their relationship, one that Ready described as being invited in as a part of Pearce's family. I guarantee he was holding on to some serious bitterness for being shunned.

Pearce has got some major dirt on him, I'm sure. It's just a matter of time before it comes out.

Those 55 gallon drums in Ready's back yard...what were they filled with? FBI supplied explosives?

They were there. They showed the blue drums on the news as they were being tested by HAZMAT crews. No word yet on what was in them but they were full of liquid. HAZMAT was shown in full gear dipping test strips into them.

Also, Ready had turned in drug caches that he supposedly found in the desert.

Yeah, I just stumble upon cartel caches every time I play around in the desert too.

The whole thing sounds so ridiculous. Only something the FBI could come up with.

Always interesting to see what y'all sleuth up on cases. Agreed, it does not sound kosher that someone with body armor on would commit suicide. All the other information is very interesting. There is definitely something off with this story.

Very glad that we sold our house there and moved away. Even 4 1/2 years ago, the crime was getting worse and one of the major reasons we decided to move to a rural town in the Mid-West.

I worked with others to have him removed from his local position within our Republican Party because there has never been and will never be any room in our Party or our lives for those preaching hatred. He was angry with me and stayed angry with me, and it has been several years since I have had reason to speak with JT.

Ready’s group, sometimes a few, sometimes Ready alone, military gear, armed to the teeth, patrolled the Arizona border with Mexico and publicly claimed to be putting a “dent” into cartel business.

Whether this is the reason for the deaths, now considered mass murder or some other reason, one potentially complex as any dealings with so many agencies can be, is the reason, only time will tell.

The possibilities now expand with every moment, drugs, weapons, diamonds, terrorists, local political payoffs, racially motivated killings, any of these, all of these are possible. What has happened is that a “murder/suicide” that would have rated a detective and coroner has now brought a military task force and every FBI agent from the region.

Why other members of the press missed the FBI agents, the military uniforms is testimony to how you can shoot a Federal judge or member of congress in broad daylight and stand trial unscathed. There is a smell in Arizona, millions in cartel money flowing in, Operation Fast and Furious running guns to drug terrorists with taxpayer money, government officials only inches away from millions of dollars that make the difference, a very thin difference between Arizona being part of the United States and a minor “outcropping” into “Gringoland” for billionaire cartels who have the wherewithal to test any and all, threats, money, it is all on the table.

yes, it's being largely ignored
on both FreeRepublic.com and DemocraticUnderground.com

Usually after an event like this, there's a race

And the story doesn't explain much about the chemicals... except that ofcourse he was going to be using them (even though it was not actually his house, but that of his girlfriend):

"Neighbors said they weren't just horrified by what happened -- but what Ready may have been preparing to do with all those chemicals.

Police said the chemicals were removed from the scene by the Gilbert Fire Department Hazardous Materials team and the Department of Defense. "

Why doesn't the story say what the chemicals were? Perhaps they were to collect rain.
