For those that dont know already Malachi Martin (July 23, 1921 – July 27, 1999) was an Irish Catholic priest, theologian, writer on the Catholic Church, and professor at the Vatican's Pontifical Biblical Institute. His 15 novels and non-fiction books were frequently critical of the Vatican, and has been described as revealing an obsession with Satanism (including the 1976 bestseller, "Hostage to the Devil"). A controversial figure, he was a staunch traditionalist who believed that Satan had set in motion a global conspiracy among world powers to erode the moral authority of the Catholic Church. His 1978 book, "The Final Conclave," alleged that alliances existed between the Church and communist nations.

This guy died years ago and in his interview he claimed all his predictions would happen within 5 to 10 years.
He was totally wrong and his window closed years ago.
Why bring this up now? It has nothing to do with now. Its gone and finished.

If i claim gold would reach $2000 by 1978 and it does not happen. Then in 2010 gold reaches $1900, would it be correct to claim i was right all along?

Gold Price on Jan-03 1978 $169.20 not $2000.
Gold Price on Jan-04 2010: $1121.50 not $1900.
