Just happened across this in a hunting blog...
This story may have not made news yet...
The mutant animal was shot recently and i dont believe this story has hit the net yet.

This was shot in Utah near Ogden. It was hissing at the farmer and he shot it. Said he called the game and fish and they said to get rid of it. Any ideas?

Looks like some sort of lab experiment gone wrong.

Someone in the hunting forum called it a hairless raccoon, but it appears to have a body covered in short, fine, brown hair. Plus you can't see it's front paws well enough to tell--raccoons have tiny hands like us, not paws like other critters

Why have these things just now started showing up in last couple of years, they always say its a rabid racoon.... wtf...
how come no one ever found one of these before, we've had cameras for 100 years plus... not one photo of this animal...
then all the sudden they are popping up all over...
I would think they could be aliens if there were such a thing...

We just learned where we DON'T want to spend our summer vacation—Hood County, Texas. That's because not one, but two "strange, coyote-like creatures" have been killed within 10 miles of each other. And locals there are saying that the ugly animals could be ... chupacabras.

"It was ugly, real ugly, I'm not going to tell no lie on that one," Hood County Animal Control Officer Frank Hackett told NBC's Grant Stinchfield about the animal he found and killed in an old barn.

A few days later, rancher Jack Farr also killed one of the bizarre creatures.

"I have heard of a chupacabra before, but I thought it was some sort of mythological thing," he said. "I've seen deer and coyotes. This had deer ears, big teeth and pinkish skin like nothing I've ever seen before."
