This is typical behavior by them. You can't change their nature. You can pretend all you want, and get mad at me for pointing out reality, but that won't change anything.

Did I do it wrong?

I clicked on the video and watched a bit of some "sponsor's" message about smoking.

If I continued through that crap would I have been able to watch the video?

Was the video in a different part?

Do I really have to go through someone's adverts or sponsor's messages to watch something I elect to see?

* If so, then the days of my internet are coming to a close - I'm already incensed by Youtube shoving adverts in my face when I click to watch some videos. I always click out and choose to go without when I see the start of an ad coming... it's the principle.
