I've seen it. Heroes of science say it time and time again. Homosexuality happens to quite a number of people, it just needs a trigger to start it.

I appreciate the interest in the thread, and the responses. I obviously believe there is something to this. When kids are seeing their favorite actors on TV/movies playing a homosexual, do you not think they are influenced at all? Some may decide to stop liking the actor, some may not care, some may start to think it is ok when before they didn't. Regardless, all the media attention on the subject is "planting a seed" into the minds of our youth. Whether you consider that a good or bad thing, it IS happening![/align]

If population control was a covert agenda of popularizing homosexuality in the media, why has the media failed to promote acceptance and awareness of the sexual orientation least likely to produce offspring and least likely to ever be discussed, asexuality (not to be confused with a choice of celibacy)?

Asexuals comprise ~1% of the population and lack an interest in having sex with either gender, yet can live happy and fulfilling lives without sex, with or without a “partner”. The media isn’t focusing on normalizing asexual sexual orientation because sex sells, be it hetero or homo acts of sex.

IMO, it could more easily be argued that promiscuous sex of either a hetero or homo nature is at the crux of the agenda being sold by the media, not population control.

I’m not convinced of the accuracy for the stated 10% of the population identifying as LGBT. It’s been a while since I reviewed any studies, but I thought the numbers were closer to ~3% of the population with many more having had sexual experiences with the opposite sex; however, not identifying as LGBT.

Would anyone have any current studies/surveys on the percentage of people identifying as LGBT and not consisting exclusively of a demographic of college-age students?

I think what you say has some truth to it I think they are making men whimpier and women more like men so the men would be to scared to even attempt to get a spouse! I blame video games, movies like Juno/knocked up ect., and Internet porn! It's causing us men to be more reclusive and not want to work for the action! the weak minded are only affected but the effects are seen even in the strong as well!
