Germany has great fests. Back before I was a believer, and was in the Army, I drank my share of booze. Lots of it. Germans know how to have a good time. I think the point of the technology is it will end up being used at police checkpoints, to identify drunk drivers, or even drivers who aren't drunk but had a beer or two. Also, like someone said, what about menopausal women? Will they get a DUI for haivng a hot flash?

Totally orwellian, the more technology advances.

Be easier for them to put chips in people to monitor everything they eat and drink?

At last other chips keep track everything they say and do and show
where they are at. And finally one to hurt them when the monitoring computer decides they have been naughty.

New Dream about "the beast" computer- 8-9-2012

I had a new dream last night. A lot of stuff that didn't make sense. But, I remember later, I had infiltrated the company that hosted the beast computer, that runs the mark of the beast system. I remember entering the building, and going way down into a lower part of the building. I viewed this humungous supercomputer. I remember one part of it was different than anything I had ever seen before, and realized "This thing is a living thing!"

I then woke up!

The possible interplay of science, human control and the spiritual was the basis of C. S. Lewis's great Science fiction novel That Hideous Strength in the pre computer era of 1945 and it might have had an effect on Orwell's later 1984.

Like I stated before: Technology, as its coming about, is only enslaving mankind; not freeing it up. Look at the stuff DARPA cooks up in its kitchen. Orwell could never have imagined such things!
