RE: Baking soda helps teeth & gums
I started using peroxide and baking soda on my teeth about a year ago and at my last dental check-up, my hygienist wanted to know what I was doing different because my teeth and gums were so great, so I told her and she was quite shocked.

I swear that shit works better than toothpaste. Toothpaste seems to actually help bacteria spread... Weird.

Toothpaste needs to be redesigned.

Buy the cheapest toothpaste if you still use it as there is absolutely no difference other than flavor... They all contain the industrial waste product fluoride in equal parts no matter if generic or not.

Not true! Many companies manufactor fluoride free toothpaste. I use this product. Theodent http://www.theodent.com/ Chocolate toothpaste... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DXPBXLRtQgI

THE TRUTH ONLY HURTS, HE WHO BENEFITS FROM THE LIE...

Baking soda is an effective and inexpensive way to create face and body products that leave skin looking and feeling soft and clean. It is natural, free of chemicals and has antibacterial properties that combat acne and dry skin. It also serves as an exfoliant and can be combined with other natural ingredients to soothe and soften rough skin.

History

An ancient Egyptian document, the Ebers Medical Papyrus that dates back to 1500 B.C., mentions the use of natron mixed with oils as a washing soap. It's been recorded in Chinese texts as a mouthwash and treatment for gum diseases.
