How? Why do people need to eat meat. Im growing beans and potatos to eat in the fall, hopefully it will last me through the winter, i hate the thought of depending on a 'store' for your food

WRONG. Many people out here depend on deer meat, it is natural here. If we didn't hunt, the population would be out of control.
