Our greatest enemy is our own ego.

We have enough resources to feed, clothe, and house every human being on this planet.

If we were to feed, clothe, and house every human on this planet by using a new system of doing things, there would still be an out cry from a mass of people claiming that a certain group did not work for it.

Too many people worrying about other people's lives.

f*ck the ego and f*ck greedy people!

I was employed doing research on real title in 2006-2007.

There was all kinds of criminality going on, and state legislatures were paving the way for it by going along with lobbyists, weakening the title system we had in place since before the revolution.

I saw what was coming, through direct evidence, most people had no idea.

it was known going into 2006...nice try

it was evident with anyone remotely around lending and banking back to 2000-2001

"Jumbo Waiver" was the phrase of the day used by loan officers looking for larger commissions

but your story was cool too

Not everybody was in the banking or real estate industry.

Prior to 2005 I spent tens of thousands of dollars on inflated rents. Not a damn thing I could do about that, except for living out of an RV for awhile.

You can dispute my "story" if you like, but I challenge you to a title insurance knowledge competition if you insist on being a dick.

chuckle

Somebody needs to shake Warren Buffet and find out the dirty details of this stinky deal.

disputing the part in bold

really, we were a nation of ostriches?

Well, caveat emptor applies, certainly, always has, always should,

but what I'm trying to point out is that this wasn't just dumb behavior on the part of the banks, or just dumb behavior on the part of buyers.

The banks no longer had a fiduciary duty to make sure loans performed. That's not just from Federal lending mandates, they lobbied hard for deregulation, and engaged in criminal activity.

The liar loans happened towards the end of the bubble, and I just want to make sure people don't blame it all on sub-prime.

My ex and I were pre-approved for $140k. We never looked at anything over $75k because if on of us got sick, or died, or became chronically unemployed we'd lose the house.

As it happened, we divorced, and she didn't want the house, so I have it. I've been unemployed a long time, but have so far managed to make the payments.

I don't need or desire a bailout.

What I do want is an investigation into banker criminality, and reinstatement of sound banking practices.

We all need that.

There is no such thing as sovereign debt. End the FED, bring back Greenbacks.

I was referring to a new system, not the current system.

A new system that will provide you with a house, clothes, and food privileges. If you want luxury items like a Car, TV, Computer and Internet. You will have to go out and work for it.
