RE: Being Gay Should Be A Felony - 13% Of Republicans Polled In NC
I can usually tell the difference between actual Christians and those who
profess to be. Their constant assertion of their faith as being right while
all others are wrong contradicts the very essence of what Jesus taught.
The real Christians tend to share from the heart and not be judgmental.
They can quote scripture but they don't quote it AT you. I don't care if
this is a bait thread or not. One reply tried to use a extremist medical
group to assert their negative claims about gays. I'm glad I got the chance
to expose that. I don't think their post was a troll, not from a registered
member.
This says it best:
"The constant assertion of belief is an indication of fear."

we should have never populated the entire Midwest

Sometimes, I think they missed the whole message. They just be spending all their time watching for the Devil instead of doing good works and loving their neighbors (gay or not). They drive me nuts.
On to a thread with more depth . . . .
This is bait thread, just as Luvapottomus pointed out. Some of the posters you see here are role playing with an agenda and they are not Christian. Please read this:

Oh look, its the repub retard who thinks everything is a bait thread.
its a sad fact that republicans are dumb as bricks, they have shown it all over this thread, and their king, you, now tries to spin it to make it look like this is a baithread.
Painting a specific group with a broad brush accusing all within the group of...whatever... usually is the epitome of ignorance ...
And immaturity.

Oh, was this about Republicans v. Democrats? I did not know that. And, yeah, your threads are always about division, baiting, hating.
I'm not a Republican but thanks for playing.

Arch Phoenix Wrote:Wait, Rape is okay and being gay is a sin? Thats interesting.....
The intrusive, non-consensual 'power over' stream of rape would include 'psychological violence' - if I had anything to say about it.
Relevant examples including: the intentional (or gossip based) outing of individuals for the purpose of humiliation - and entirely based on ideological preference bias, and political alignment.
Meaning: it's okay (apparently) to ridicule and expose (under the guise of pointing out hypocrisy) those closeted homosexuals--just so long as it's politically advantageous to do so - despite a mass political march for recognition, respect and universal human protections ( by the selfsame community). None too paradoxically parallel with the African American community, as example.
Secondly: Demanding access and inclusion for the purpose of participation
in (Church/marriage) ceremony although the institution itself is loathed by those seeking access, recognition, and respect; irrespective of what is commonly believed to be a den of pedophilia whereby near every priest and pastor is held with suspicion ( sadly so, as a result of rampancy); hence Papal disclosure/exposure and subsequent 'crucifixion.'
All of these realities within a cultural backdrop of voyeurism, isolation and
the steady consumption of explicit youth imagery, consumed by whom?
Rape abounds... in myriad forms, subtle > to overt. Do stats exceed 13%?
Behavior and respect, practice versus principles, attitudes and attachments; cognitive disconnect; fixation; ignorance - political exploitation...
