My Dad had a couple of them. They're a lot like Danes temperament and drool wise. chuckle

My Dad had a couple of them. They're a lot like Danes temperament and drool wise.

lol....having experienced both breeds 'up close and personal'...I have never known a dane to drool like a newfie...and I would take grooming a dane over a newfie any day ...coat wise anyway....temperament...the newfie is a lot more trustworthy I think :D Heartflowers

That's nice to know I heard that to get one you will be put on a waiting list and go through a screening and be charged $25 Grand. I like dogs but not that much. Scream1

lol...I dont know if thats correct info....I groom a few that the owners cant seem to afford the 120.00 fee ...if they paid that much for the dog I would think that price would come easy to them :D

I'm just going on what my nephew told me he said they come from Russia so actually this may not even be the breed he was talking about. This is a massive dog though.

For a monster that size $120.00 seems low. I used to pay $75.00 for my prior dog to be groomed and it was a collie huskie mix. Three times smaller than this mastiff.
