Birds, meteors and magenstism.
I was watching an Ancient Aliens last night on Indian encounters with aliens.
There was a segment on the serpent mound in Ohio.
The old Indian stories claim the Indians would lie down on the mound and watch the birds circle overhead, that it was common for the birds to always circle over the area.

Geologist say the area where the serpent mound is located is on the edge of a meteor crater and the magnetism in the rocks could be affecting migratory birds as they fly over.
You cannot see this crater from the ground or above.

I found this fascinating. A while back on my drive to work,- I drive a long road between two towns that have nothing but pastureland on them, off to my left I see the largest flock of birds I've ever seen in flight. They were making a huge circle about 3-5 miles wide. To my right I saw two more flocks making serpentine patterns, I have never seen this before.

I'm thinking it's quite possible there is a meteor crater out there. Maybe the birds that fly over the crater get confused and get caught up in a circular pattern and maybe those on the outer edge wind up making serpentine patterns.

Maybe that is why the serpentine mound is on the edge. I wonder if at some time there was a circular mound in the center of the Ohio crater?
