"These latest results indicate that there's a culture of compassion and cooperation among lower-class individuals that may be born out of threats to their well-being," study author and social psychologist Jennifer Stellar said in a university news release.

I'm confused. The thread title claims poor in spirit are blessed, but the opening posts talks about poor in the material sense.

So I'm not sure what your point is....

I've seen poor assholes, and rich assholes.
I've seen beautiful souls who are poor, and beautiful souls who are rich.

So what does it matter?
