i think its still only 8.
in all honesty. no particular order:
arrested development
breaking bad
early sopranos
seinfeld
im trying to think of my top five shows.
I think there's an 8 season run during the summer, and then if we survive 2012, later in the fall or maybe it's early 2013 the remainder 8 episodes of the final season (season 5) plays.
FaFaFooey Wrote:Dexter
X-Files
Breaking Bad
Sopranos season 2
Seinfeld

As for my top 5 shows:
Misfits
Spooks
The Newsroom
Dr Who
Breaking Bad
Heh, only 2 of my top 5 are from the US. The rest are UK shows.
I dig
Dexter, but I don't know if it'd make my top 5.
Six Feet Under (also starring Michael C. Hall) probably would, however...
The Newsroom seems like it is really contrived/manipulated and more

like everything else post 9-11/NWO conspiracy wake-up. HBO and Showtime have some quality programming, though, and have ever since
The Sopranos really hit the stage and blew everybody away when that first aired (and on through its run).
Cheers &
M*A*S*H will always hold a special place in my television program fondness, as will
All in the Family.
Seinfeld & the
X-Files, too, were shows I really enjoyed when growing up (or early syndication, such as with
Seinfeld).
Arrested Development was a classic (that'd be great if Ron Howard ever directed the film).
Right now, I'm enjoying/still enjoying
Weeds, Nurse Jackie, Californication, Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Shameless and
True Blood...
The Borgias and
The Tudors were/are well done period dramas, imo.
The Shield was pretty good;
The Wire was excellent and a must-watch (
Treme also very good [same creator as
The Wire and some of the same cast])...
House &
Scrubs were some post-
4077 medical drama/sitcoms I've enjoyed.
Breaking Bad is right up there: maybe even right up there with
I Love Lucy
I liked Dave Letterman, too, but he seems a little too pervy and elitist to me now, so I haven't seen him in a while. Talk shows are epic shill-fests, anyhow.
I almost forgot
Mr. Show (
Workaholics has potential, too...
SNL hit & miss over the years

& FX's
Louie!...and
It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia!! [I guess I should add
The Office, 30 Rock and
The League while I'm mentioning every other television program ever produced])!
Enjoy the show!

(Sorry, Brits-I don't really know your shows. My mom likes
Doc Martin and
Are You Being Served, fwiw

I haven't seen much of them, but I did enjoy a few episodes of
Absoultely Fabulous, Black Adder and
Faulty Towers when I was younger [maybe because I was high]. Oh, and you have the original
Office and Gervais'
Extras! [and, yes-
Flying Circus or anything Monty Python produced was genius.
Benny Hill, not so much...)
