My brother had to go to the Hospital today over a Bill he Paid in full the day he had the appointment. The Hospital submitted it (already paid bill) to insurance who refused to pay it so the people at the hospital added what the insurance didn't to the total of the bill he paid. They were threatening him with collections over it. (they were trying to get paid twice, my brother knew it wasn't covered by insurance in the first place and paid it. the hospital then tried to get paid again.)
Just imaging hoe easy someone that's actually seriously ill and can't keep up with that would be screwed.
