If you will please excuse me for saying so, the Vatican and the Catholic (or Universal) Church is in possession of enough real 'currency,' in various forms, to feed, clothe, house, and comfort just about every sheep out there in the big pasture that is the world... if charity were truly operating in deed, and not theory alone, there would be no need for the State to interject itself in the 'welfare' of the people, but only its lawful direction, as was intended.

That would seem to be the more natural division point for 'church' and 'state,' if you ask me... but the yoke is heavy, there is no doubt about that, and you would just think that with the continued presence of the representative of 'Christ' on earth and all, that the yoke should have been lightened, somehow. I would have thought so, anyway....

Name one organization who has contributed more to the poor than the catholic church........ You can't, cause there is none.

Ahhh,trick question, because the answer is no organization, only because outside of being slaves, the people of the world are organizations, YET, they solely support the Catholic Church by various means.
