Fox News has learned from sources who were on the ground in Benghazi that an urgent request from the CIA annex for military back-up during the attack on the U.S. consulate and subsequent attack several hours later on the annex itself was denied by the CIA chain of command -- who also told the CIA operators twice to "stand down" rather than help the ambassador's team when shots were heard at approximately 9:40 p.m. in Benghazi on Sept. 11.

Former Navy SEAL Tyrone Woods was part of a small team who was at the CIA annex about a mile from the U.S. consulate where Ambassador Chris Stevens and his team came under attack. When he and others heard the shots fired, they informed their higher-ups at the annex to tell them what they were hearing and requested permission to go to the consulate and help out. They were told to "stand down," according to sources familiar with the exchange. Soon after, they were again told to "stand down."

An American military analyst says the Israeli intelligence agency, Mossad, organized the attack on the US consulate in the Libyan city of Benghazi, Press TV reports.

Israeli forces produced the anti-Islam film, released it and led the attacks against the US consulate in Benghazi, Gordon Duff said in an interview with Press TV on Friday.

someone told those our armed froces to stand down while those bastards killed our people and destroyed 2 embassies...

can you imagine how those soildiers felt who were told to stand down... what must have went through their heads... wonder if they thought

3) What is the assumed political leaning of the CIA
4) Which US president was a director of the CIA during Operation Cyclone?
5) Who knew exactly what happened in Benghazi before the investigation was over? And how????

If you remember, they told us that Chris Stevens had been out of the country, but was called back, reason not given.

Does this smell like a plot to kill him? If it is as they say, that the planned attack was known, Stevens was the target. But why? He was a CIA agent, and there was no embassy. What was he doing in Libya?
