Can't Manually Set Clock on My Old Cellphone. 25 Min.'s Ahead Since I Stopped Service
I have an Lg Rumor phone that I used to use with U.S. Cellular. I stopped the service when I moved back to NY in November. I still use it for an alarm clock. I bought another Rumor just like it because my old phone wouldn't work on the Sprint Network.

Here's the intriguing part. There is no way to set the clock on the phone unless you are on a network. Since November when it stopped being on a network, it is now 25 minutes ahead of all my other devices that are connected.

1. Why can't I have the simple option of setting my own time?
2. Why is the difference so great in just a few months?
3. Why was Daylight Savings Time really adjusted by a month in 2005?

Pole Shift? Any thoughts?

Here is the manual to the phone. If anyone can find where you can set the time, please let me know. I've been all over the menu screens.

Can you manually adjust the time on your phone or is it network set only like mine?

Yes. On my HTC Inspire the time may be set manually.

In the end each other is all we have.

When the government sets your own clocks for you, yeah, somethings up. (Everything is set to Navy time now, that's the standard).

Anyone use and old clock and have had to keep setting it to match your computer or phone?

That just selects the type of clock you display on the main screen. It doesn't give you the option to set it.

It will probably be easier if you just move to a place where the time zone matches your clock.chuckle
