For more information:
In that thread, I write about all religions, including ancient ones that are usually called "polytheistic" today.
I believe in Amun, Shangdi, Tezcatlipoca, Odin, Vishnu, and all the rest 100% and take all the ancient religions and cultures pretty seriously, but I don't make those all out to be different beings or forms, but believe that they were all references to the same Ultimate and Utmost (Hypsistos even) that underlies all reality and animation.
I also believe in all the ancient Gods. I think they are various powerful entities on different planes. We differ in that I don't think they're all some manifestation of the ultimate any more than we are. To me, they are just entities vying for power. The monotheistic god(s) and devil(s) of the more widespread world religions are more advanced physical beings...possibly what we would call extraterrestrials, though they are basically highly evolved humans...and they too want control of everything IMO. We are like ants to them, and stand no chance...
Since you know a lot about ancient gods, do you have any idea who Ylishumatra is? She says she is "the voice of the wind and the pouring rain" and communicates only when it is raining, or humid and windy w/ clouds. I don't know if I'm spelling the name right. I think she is an old rain God. If it helps, I believe I was a very significant Illyrian in a past life (Ardiaei tribe). Illyria is a small civilization during the Roman empire located where Albania is now. It was conquered or destroyed by the Romans---no one knows quite what happned, but I'm about to go to regression and find out. It's kind of obscure, but at least I'm not claiming to be a reincarnation of Napoleon or something. I think I have unfinished business from that life and it is very important to my destiny and Ylishumatra has something to do with it. There seems to be no Illyrian rain god, but Rodon, the Illyrian ocean god, has a wife named Shkumbe. Could Ylishumatra be a variant of Illy-Shkumbe, meaning Shkumbe of Illyria (the language is lost, so there's no knowing whether or not it means that). Illyshkumbatra, a conjugated version of "Shkumbe of Illyria?"
FreedomStands Wrote:So maybe nondenominational occultist covers that.
Maybe, but occultists usually try to discern specific usable secrets and protocals from ancient texts and then do magickal rituals or contact the entities. Do you do that? Simply believing in an ultimate reality manifested in all things is something different.
Hmm, I do perhaps do somethings that could qualify as rituals but they don't look like the stuff they show in movies or whatever.
"Another animal I talked to in a dream was evil from the beginning. She was a mountain lion. I was in a grassy area with a little dry creek. It was windy and I was practicing aerokinesis. That's another example of the practicing something at night and getting better at it thing, because I really felt better at it after. Anyway, the mountain lion got mad. "I worship Ylishumatra, goddess of the wind and the pouring rain, and she is mine, not yours!" she cried. Then she ran at me and tried to attack me. The feelings of the wind and almost getting pushed over by a giant mountain lion were amazingly realistic. Then I sent a gust of wind flying at the mountain lion and stopped the attack. I ran in the house and we stared at each other through the window. My mom was there and she hates mountain lions so she was panicking. I think dreams like this are spirit-related."

I have exactly the same rain affinity as you--not as much with non-raining storms, although those do give me some energy, but a lot with rain. I get tons of energy from rain and I can't stand to not be outside when its raining. It just feels so amazing when its raining that I am convinced the rain is a living entity. I just know. I had to call her something, so I call her Ylishumatra, a name that popped into my head one day. I think the rain is somehow female. Or at least part of it--the part that I know. But lately, I have not had as much of a connection. I just don't feel the same way when its raining. And I really want to be connected again."
Is that you?
Anyway when you said Ylishumatra, the closest thing that I know of was
YLIJUMALA, the Supreme God. Yli meaning Ultimate or Over and Jumala meaning God.
I'd like to clarify something though about what I wrote. I'm not denying entities exist, but the thing that I call Ultimate Reality I connect all those various things I mentioned and more when the definitions match, like how in different languages there are words that are different than in other languages but the meaning is the same (and we know because of the definitions of the words, rather than the sounds of the words).
For example if someone talks about an apple in another language, it doesn't mean it isn't an apple anymore just because another word was used.
So most ancient religions acknowledged an Ultimate Originator that pervades everywhere, and then also acknowledged other entities and also used words to symbolically describe natural things.
Shumatra might be a reference to Sumatra? "Mentioned in the 11th century in Sanskrit as Sumatra-bhumi "land of Sumatra", gradually replacing the earlier Svarna-dvīpa."
A reference to the largest Island of Indonesia?
In any case, I do believe in entities and all that and also many entities take the names of "Gods" but if one reads the ancient stuff and translates the meanings of the names it isn't hard to see what they were talking about were often not actual entities in many cases, for example Aten was literally the word for the sun, but today there is an entity that goes by that name.
There are a number of entities that call themselves Jesus for example, a number that call themselves Yahweh and Abba and other things like that in their power plays.
The thing I'm talking about though was something all the religions and ancients mentioned and would put it at the top of their lists as the source of origin for all existence so thats the only thing I call "god" while I think entities is appropriate for the others.

The entities of this race of beings we are calling entities, are often connected with weather phenomenon and come out during storms and stuff, they can even come very near to a person in the form of a fine mist and whisper sub audibly in the ear of a person like if one were to barely say "cat" in ones ear and then the person would think of a cat for example.
They can even be photographed and appear on infared heat vision.

The particle Yli is mainly found in Finnish and means "over" and Shumatra sounds like Sumatra but might be another Finnish word that I don't know, which would make more sense if the whole thing is Finnish.
soumettre is French for submit.

Google's creepy. Yes, it's me.

OH MY GODS, THANK YOU! It's this! Ukko, referred to by the title Ylijumala (my brain mistranslated it XD) because he is the most powerful one, god of the sky, weather, harvest and thunder in Finnish mythology.
"It is possible that the figure of Ukko is mostly Indo-European, possibly Baltic, in origin."
Illyrian = Baltic (they are closely related)
Wow.
He may be equivalent to Zeus and Jupiter. When I was a kid, I didn't really believe in Zeus, but I called on him in joking and a thunderstorm started. I was like, "Wait, I thought Ylishumatra (Ylijumala/Ukko) controls this stuff. What's going on?" Could be the same entity...
So he is male. He contacted me when I was 13, and I had never ever read about mythology, yet I got the name very close. This is proof I'm not crazy.
One more question that may solve the mystery of my life. What do you know about dingoes in mythology? Or maybe just animals that look like dingoes? Is there a deceptive dingo-like god?

Would Ylijumala be one of these?

Insurgent, since you posted the link to this blog, I hope you take a lesson from it. Be glad your Saudi boyfriend is gone. If he comes back refuse to see him.
Remember, He will OWN any children you have; and it has happened many times in cases like this that the Muslim will take the kids and go back to where he came from and there is NOTHING you can ever do to get your kids back. They are gone forever.
The blogger sure could have used more paragraphs. I have to wonder if English is her first language. She's really awkward there.

This blog needs some more pageviews. Why isn't the media onto this? Why hasn't she contacted the Canadian government or sought refuge in the embassy? She seems kind of ignorant, no offense. We need to help her. No one has discovered her yet, since she has only started blogging in August and probably doesn't know how to get visibility. This is a Hollywood-like situation! Can hardly believe what I've found. The whole thing is kind of fishy, but is definitely real...unless she's crazy. I wonder why some of her videos have been taken down but the blog remains intact... If she's still a Canadian citizen, there is hope, right? Maybe if she didn't put cheesy pictures in between her very serious words, she would be taken seriously.
I found it completely by chance because my Saudi boyfriend broke up with me out of the blue and I was Googling to see if that is a normal Saudi thing. Apparently they're very secretive and often disappear. Wonder if he's an agent too. If so, I'd love him even more for it, but he's GONE!

Serves her right. Sleep with dogs, you get fleas as the saying goes.
Why would we care at all to "help" her? She obviously can get in to her own mess.

Her first language is French.
Sorry, but I am not a racist. Actually, when it comes to relationships, I am, because almost all white guys are ugly and almost all Arabs are hot. I also like Asians and Indians and Africans...but Arabs are the most attractive to me, not only in looks, but in demeanor.
But maybe I'm not racist after all because I'm bisexual and think some white women are okay looking...
Just because some Saudis are bad doesn't mean all are. People have got to stop lumping other people into categories! Nathalia's husband didn't do anything wrong (except espionage, and I can relate to that...), but it's the Saudi GOVERNMENT that refuses to let them go. The bastards are being unfair to their own operatives, just because they can. It's disgusting. She and the husband are both victims of the government. Read her posts about how she hates governments. The experience has turned her into some kind of radical Libertarian. XD
I don't do children. I have an aversion to sex too, which is why I think he left me. He broke up with me over text (ugh) and said, "Our personalities are different" and I was like, "How?" and he was like, "You don't smoke, I do, you don't drink, I do, you don't eat meat, I do." Of course, none of those things should matter to him, and the implicit meaning of that sentence is "You don't have sex, I do." Other than the unavoidable human pitfalls, he's a great person in every way, and if he got himself under control and came back seeking a purely emotional relationship, I would of course say yes.
Except I'd have to tell him who I really am so that he wouldn't feel betrayed if he got caught up in some international political conundrum through no fault of his own... Every relationship or potential relationship of mine has been undone by that factor. It really hasn't been that many, because I don't think I'm suited to such things and I never seek out relationships...it just happens. Having a boyfriend or girlfriend would only distract from my work, and I want to have equal brotherly love for all my comrades without the impediment of a romance or family on the side (the family's already gone, so I should be cherishing my nothing-and-noone-to-lose status).
Perhaps it is best for both of us that he's gone.

If Arabs are dogs, white people are pigs. Seems fitting, if everyone has to be an animal. When you make those racist comments, how do you know the other people on this forum are not Arab? What if I was, eh? You could be insulting a lot of people.
So lacking in empathy... Everybody makes mistakes. And it's not only her, it's the children! Just look at those faces.
First they came for the communists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a communist.
Then they came for the socialists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a trade unionist.
Then they came for me,
and there was no one left to speak for me.
Keep up your attitude and when you are in a mess, there will be no one left to get you out of it.
Fine, leave it up to me to help her. I need a pet project.

RE: Canadian Woman and Family Trapped by Saudi Government--IMPORTANT UPDATE
UPDATE:
The Media and Nathalie's blog have COMPLETELY DIFFERENT accounts of the story. The news articles say nothing about the husband being an agent and say that he is abusive. The blog says it is a big government conspiracy and the husband is also a victim.
From an article in the Epoch Times.
Quote:According to Johanne Durocher, Morin’s mother who lives in Montreal, Al Sharahni beats Morin and for long periods kept her and the children locked in an apartment, isolated from society. The situation has deteriorated for Morin since the family recently moved to Al Sharahni’s mother’s home in Bisha, a city in southwestern Saudi Arabia near Yemen.
Although the children have more freedom now, Durocher says Al Sharahni’s family verbally abuses Morin and often confines her in a small storage room, sometimes for over 30 hours at a time and without food or water, despite temperatures of 40 C in Bisha.
From Nathalie's Blog:
Quote: I'm a desesperate woman, become my battle is against royal powerful members from "House Of Saud (family)" and unfortunately the whole world is under their power. Petro-dollars are masters in this crasy world and diplomatic people are thinking much more about it than citizens. I'm only a woman who would like to have normal life with her Saudi husband and her kids. We are suffering since many years to don't have any right to get out of Saudi Arabia.
Something interesting from the news article.
Quote: “They’re trying to make her get sick and crazy, so she’s going to be on her knees and she’s going to have to come back to Canada. That’s what they’re trying to do,” says Durocher, adding that the family is illiterate and extremely poor.
Whose account is correct? Did she go crazy?
I don't think so...but that's what the mainstream people think.
This is a bigger problem than I thought. I thought the media just hadn't noticed her yet.
