everyone i have ever known that has had chemo has not survived. i dont know if it prolongs life just a little or if it just racks up a bunch of money for somebody right before these people die.
My dad is still alive because of radiation and chemo. He doesn't have short term memory. And he loses his balance a lot and his vision isn't perfect, but he can still drive, but he is alive, over ten years later.

What? If this is true - she should have contacted the police.
What purpose did all that serve? People take their own lives for selfish reasons usually.

Wow, well I'm glad it does work for some people. Thank goodness my parents don't have cancer. my mom has to go in next Thursday for a breast reduction, i thought they were lying to me when she told me because she does not have that problem or so i would figure, but i asked her the other night if she was telling me the truth and she is. i guess her back problems are attributed to that, i just didn't know her back problems were that bad. she doesn't take anything for it, which all led me to believe that it wasnt the truth. Still though parents worry you as much as kids do.

LoP Guest Wrote:LoP Guest Wrote:My mom has stage 4 cancer right now and I have been desperately doing research to get her on something non-chemo. I've seen how the chemo has ravaged her body and it breaks my heart. I think on some level though, she's so depressed, she's just accepted it. Before all this happened, she would have readily tried natural alternatives. Now she just buys into the spoon-fed crap of Big Pharma and her oncologist. I love her desperately, but sometimes I feel like I'm hitting my head against a wall repeatedly, when it comes to trying to get through to her. Same with my dad, who when it comes to all this, doesn't want to believe that Big Pharma or the oncologists or big, well known hospital she is treating at, would have any alterior motives other than getting people well. It's like watching my mom slowly die and not being able to do anything about it. I can't force the natural stuff into her mouth, so I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place.
Please check out "Rainbow Green Live Cuisine" by Dr. Gabriel Cousens. He talks a lot about his own research into cancer and how he cures it with a raw food diet. It is a really excellent book. It is really hard to talk sense into people when it comes to medicine. My mother has Alzheimer's and my stepdad only ever wants to listen to the doctors and have my mom on 10 different medications, some of which increase her agitation and decrease her quality of life. If I ever try to suggest a different approach he basically says "We are not doctors and I am not listening to anyone but the doctor." I will say "Even though you know they get kickbacks for every prescription they write?" And he says "Yep." Which is just infuriating to the point I have just given up. I do cook her healthy meals, but I know at this point it's a losing battle I'm fighting. With cancer though, nutrition is everything if it's not too late. It sounds like you are where I am at though and I feel your pain, trust me.
recently they are saying that they have found that regular aspirin can stop the spread of cancer

With some cancers, all you have to do to stop its growth and spread in the body is simply slightly alter the body chemistry. Hillbillies have long had home remedies for cancer. One of the most common is Apple Cider vinegar. They just take a shot glass full every morning (followed by a quick drink of water) and they hold the cancer in remission.
Others have said that they just use old aspirin.
In both cases, you are just making the body a little bit more acidic than normal, but it appears to work in some cases.

RE: Cancer ind total fraud exposed:Nearly all 'scientific' studies fail to be replicated
LoP Guest Wrote:Yep, nothing changes after decades of hundreds of millions of dollars spent. Some people put medicine up on a pedestal but in reality it's pretty barbaric (and corrupt!). Still after all these years the main treatment for cancer is deadly itself and involves poisoning all the healthy cells. A big problem with chemotherapy is that once is is done, the body does not respond to nutritional therapy which is really the best treatment but is too radical for most people, and of course, worthless to big pharma, with chemo costing $30,000 a session. What incentive to they have to find a better cure when chemo costs that much and requires multiple rounds, usually kills the person in the end anyway somehow, which requires more medicine and treatment. There is no incentive to find a cure for anything when this is all about money. They don't want us healthy, period.
Some of it, but not all of it. I'd hold up St. Jude's Children's Research
Hospital as a shinning example any day. They've taken cancer survival
rates from the single digits back in the 1960s when it opened to mostly
80 to 90 percentiles in most cancers. The people there are no less
than miracle workers.

Seems there is a similar pattern here - not to mention the whole GW boondoggle.
The EPA's Faulty Science Can Be Stopped
By John Dale Dunn & Steve Milloy
United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)-sponsored and funded "human health effects science" research is unreliable and makes irresponsible and outrageous claims about how air pollution causes thousands of deaths. Then the EPA claims that it can prevent those deaths with its latest set of regulations of emissions. This junk science can be challenged effectively, legally, and politically, as described below.
The science misconduct is the result of the politicization of public health science, something Eisenhower warned about in his farewell speech in 1961. There are political, judicial, and administrative solutions to this perfidy.
First, what is the junk science?
Judging Science: Scientific Knowledge and the Federal Courts ( MIT press, 1995), by Peter Huber, Ph.D., J.D. and Ken Foster, Ph.D. -- written two years after the Supreme Court decision in Daubert v. Merrell Dow 509 U.S. 579 (1993), is a comprehensive and thorough book on junk science and legal solutions to prevent junk evidence. The book also explains Daubert evidentiary dicta, discussed in a previous essay.
We also discussed the Reference Manual on Scientific Evidence (RSME) (1994, 2000, and 2011), published by the Federal Judicial Center, intended to educate judges on their Daubert duty to be gatekeepers for reliable scientific evidence in the courtroom.
Fallacious thinking makes EPA research in human health effects science unreliable, forsaking the most important responsibility of a scientist: be your own most severe critic, and retain a skeptical attitude about your ideas and theories. The key is to test your hypothesis -- your theory. If it can't be tested, it isn't science.

RE: Cancer ind total fraud exposed:Nearly all 'scientific' studies fail to be replicated
If they cure cancer they are out of jobs. So they lie to fake progress which keeps the grants coming.
If cancer is cured it will be done by China, or Japan or some other country with real research. Our researchers just want to keep their jobs. Everything is profit oriented here. If the cure cance an entire industry of treating it will also disappear.
Same with alternative fuels. Japan has no resources, so they would be the first to perfect a cheap alternative fuel that would put the oil companies out of business.

I know someone who survived cancer via chemo as well. He lost a fair amount of weight but he recovered pretty well.
It really depends on the type of cancer, the stage it's in, the organs or tissue affected, etc.
My aunt had a cancerous tumor on her skin and all they did was snip it out.

I don't know why the St. Jude model isn't replicated more, but it
works here and thousands of children are alive today to testify to
it. I used to do volunteer work there. I've seen the miracles. They
are very real.

The scientists I knew at St. Jude would be happy to lose their jobs
because of a total cure. They'd just move on to other areas of
scientific research.
