You didn't think they would stop with mandatory health insurance did you?

Now that the Supreme Court has ruled you have no rights and can be forced do anything the government decides is in your best interest or else be "taxed" into poverty your life will soon become a living hell.

Let me guess what kinds of questions will be on the "mental health checkup".
Do you think the government is being to big and intrusive? Do you believe the 2nd ammendment guarantees an individual right to own firearms?

Chicago Lives Healthy provides free annual health screenings, physical and mental health checkups, call-ins, and “wellness activities” for employees. The city calls it the largest municipal wellness program in the world.

and if we feel you are unwell, mental/physically, you must go to our mandatory appointed solutions, weather it be a class, a new diet, or therapist
Non-compliance equals, Fines and possibly Jail/Asylum time

Probably a good plan, preventing is cheaper than curing.
Healthcare is too expensive, things must be thought of the reduce the cost.

I hate to say this but I tend to agree with Tom Cruise's sentiments on the mental health industry.

I use to work as a counsellor to the Deaf. I had an autistic client who experienced some sexual abuse and had difficulty dealing with it. He had an violent episode that required that I restrain him and call the cops. He was taken to the psych ward where the doctor put him under a 72 hour watch. That was the last time I saw him. He went from there to a psychiatric facility where they experimented on him with different medications.

I suggested art therapy to help him express his feelings. I even found a therapist willing to work with him. The crux of this story is, a GP or family doctor in Ontario, has the power to lock up someone indefinitely if they are deemed mentally unfit. If you cannot defend yourself or explain yourself, you are indeed doomed to be chemically restrained.

What the hell is this bullshit!?

Starting in mid-October, participants will receive a “check-in call” from a disease-management company; and “wellness activities” – tailored to an individual’s needs -- must be performed every month, starting Nov. 1.

Participants will be asked to complete at least 15 minutes of wellness activities each month. Those activities range from classes to events to online tools designed to help them reach their wellness goals. The activities will be tracked online.

And how much of this crap is "exercise"? Sorry, 15 minutes of forced exercise a month ain't gonna help.

Okay, I've got one. How about banning advertising for Pharma products again like it used to be. It's the docs responsibility to know this field, not the patients to "ask your doctor if Bonerall is right for you".

That is a mammoth expense right there.

Oh and while we're all free market/free trade and shit, how about allowing Americans to buy cheaper medicines from Canada? Why would CONgress have forbidden us from doing that? To let the industry gouge us?
