Neither of you are wrong, but I agree, it has to be fixed so it DOESN'T KEEP GOING ON. I'm tired of reading the statistics of children gone missing each year, not just in the US but worldwide, and I know that just a small part are victims of individual deprived persons, but the majority are falling right into this global pedophile sex trafficking ring. It HAS TO STOP!

I think you're describing it correctly, and a good balance of the two is important....too much in the male or female direction can be bad.... because you can wallow unproductively in emotions, and you can be eaten up by rage/the desire for revenge....

I think healing has been severely underrated....IMO it should come first and foremost, before getting too involved in punishment and justice on a bigger scale. (Trigger responses are not good - think 9/11 and the war on terror...) and there is only so much the average person, with very little money and resources, can do...but we are all capable of healing ourselves and others...

No problem, I told you it was my fault for being clumsy and shady, that's due to the fact this book is a bit explosive and afraid to get banned as it touches on all these issues and more. I would have probably reacted the same way if I was you, that's why I didn't rip your head off - I knew we were on the same team ;).

My ex's father had been accused by the oldest daughter of having molested her (I never met her, she was much older), but there were conflicting stories among the siblings...my ex was in denial that his dad could ever do anything like that. I can't really go into the seventeen year old story because it's complicated, and does tie into a place of higher education. I don't even know the man's name and it was more than a decade ago.... so yeah...

Yeah, I think lots of people who are into young people might decide to get into education.

I think its highly likely the ex's father did do something if the daughter said so, people don't make up stuff like that for no reason, its so cruel to accuse people of lying when they come out with it but investigation is important too to not allow people to get falsely accused of such a serious thing. I've talked to lots of people who were molested, I think its WAY common, and many people keep it secret from everyone.
