New Zealand is a test country, they like to try things out here before moving the strategies onto bigger countries. ATM our 50gram tobacco is over $50NZ a pack now yet still people smoke and dont protest. Smokers are being pushed into the "unclean" social bracket already and made to feel that protesting is worthless. We (smokers) are stupid and dirty and are the cause of all lung cancers, we kill unsmokers willy nilly, we kill children for fun, these are all thoughts planted ina smokers head to keep them undercontrol. I'm telling ya....somebody or some THING does NOT like cigarette smoke....it must make them sick...maybe it even KILLS them or poisons them...

I don't know about deep dark conspiracies but I am gonna go out on a limb here and state that cigarettes do something to TPTB and this is why they are trying to ban them worldwide....

Cigarettes bring in BILLIONS of tax dollars....WHY do most powers wish to dispose of that easy income?
Because...cigarettes smell and smoke do something to them. It is not worth the BILLIONS of dollars per year as it makes them so ill.....

I don't smoke, and never have. Tobacco that is. But here in Nevada, they passed a huge tax on all tobacco products, and said the money would go to the school system.

Hell now Nevada's motto is "light up for the kids sake". chuckle
