Craigslist should be taken off the net
I have dealt with craigslist many times. It becomes addictive. But if I look back at my success rate, it's not even a 10% success rate overall. It's just ridiculous now. Good luck finding a job without someone trying to direct you to a call center where they try to sell you online substriptions when all yu wanted was an interview for a job. Good luck meeting any women on there, you'll get tranny's gays and bots. Good luck trying to buy something from someone. It's more than likely going to direct you to someone trying to sell you life inurance. The entire site is a fraud, a virus. It's been highly corrupted. It's time to end the experiment. How can something so popular provide something of a low success rate for the time you spend on there.

RE: Craigslist should be taken off the net
My experience from CL has been the opposite.

I've met lovely friends, gone on nice dates (no romance has happened however)

got rid of tons of junk from my house

got free furniture, a freezer for super-cheap...

never looked for a job, but a friend gets all his work from there (construction)

and found some stuff I really wanted to buy (sparring gear for my daughter's kung fu class) at half price off retail..

sorry your experiences sucked...

I got my last three jobs there, and they were good money, too. You have to be willing to do some manual labor, though.

Right now I'm making bank but putting in over 70 hours.

RE: Craigslist should be taken off the net
I was actually just thinking about how good Craigslist is. I just found a home for one of the kittens that was abandoned on our property, a perfect match! Her ad had been on there only one day, and I have a home lined up for her mother when she's recovered from spaying, too, found on CL.

It worked for me!

Sigh...

Take craigslist off the net why?
Besides making you feel better what would that accomplish exactly?

The fact is if you even spend a moderate amount of time on craigslist it become clear what is and what is not spam.

I have what i would consider a very high success rate even with the spam.

Also do you think craigslist became a sentient ai and wrote all that spam itself?

No human sacks of shit did all of that, taking craigslist off the net would be akin to having all of the homeless people bussed out of your city then proclaiming that there is not homeless problem.

Craigslist rules OP.

Stop looking at the smut/hookup ads.

Jptdknpa

I've gotten all kinds of free stuff of CL, and before I finally finished dog-proofing all four lots, the Craigslist community helped me locate my lost dogs three times.

I have nothing bad to say about it. Fake job ads aren't a CL phenomenon. Newspaper has those too.

I've gotten great deals on computer hardware on CL too.

Do you really believe this?

You really think "has become"..... when do you think the term "buyer beware" had to start being used, 1977?

"Snakeoil salesmen" is a term derived from "what society has become"?

Craigslist works very well for me in my area for buying items, and for selling my computer repair services.

The price is right as well.

My business is in job recruiting. Craigslist is a huge tool we use for success.
We make well over 10 grand a month just from our ads we place on craigslist.
I also buy things on craigslist and resell them. My wife owns a flea market booth and gets a lot of the stuff she sells from craigslist. She even makes money from the free stuff thats posted on craigslist.

If you are trying to find a date on craigslist, thats just sad.

Ive been doing business on craigslist for about 6 years. I have never been scammed, I have never been ripped off, I have only made money and bought exactly what I was looking for.

Now with that said, yes there are scams on craigslist. But those scams are usually so obvious, you would have to be a complete retard to fall for them.
