A new plastic material has the ability to secrete a liquid substance when damaged that will fill in small gaps and cracks. Fly-Powered Clock

If you hate insects but like the concept of green energy, then this fly-powered wall clock is right up your alley. A scrolling roll of fly paper captures flies like it normally does, but then the insects are scraped off and fall into a microbial fuel cell. Unfortunately, only the actual clock is powered by dead flies, because the motor runs on batteries.

Never heard of that one actually, but i did hear about solar powered paint that you can use to make energy for your home.
