Not sure I would plan on dying, but I can relate to the Sufi idea of dying every moment to that which we cling to that is of the ego. What is it that we are really and can that 'die'? What's real can never perish and what's false can never persist. Clinging to falsehoods only creates distortion. Perhaps if we don't cling to who we think we are so much we come to understand that what we really are is so much more than our ego wants us to believe we are. But then, that could be a whole different conversation...

Maybe time is just a bubble in the eternal now. More like a dream so that what can't possibly be can seem to be, and perhaps even become so. Like the miracle of death being overcome.

For me I'm thinking around 15 mentally. Maybe 17. But not 16... I ain't that that sweet... chuckle

I actually don't 'plan' on dying but it will happen.

Why sweat the inevitable? Live every moment for the good, do right and have fun.

I think serious ego monsters end up with more than they can handle and we're not speaking in material possessions or conquests or anything material. IMO they have visited more punishment on their soul than any external force could achieve by ignoring their own soul with external material crap.
