Not necessarily, although there is some accounts in it that might contribute to a theory of periodic earth changes and celestial events that bring corresponding earth catastrophes.
The Kolbrin Bible also provides some interesting correspondence and descriptions of celestial objects entering the solar system and wrecking havoc.

What I am getting at is knowledge. What burden of evidence is required to tip one's thoughts and consideration that something might exist?

I have read the science. Periodic comet bombardment, magnetic pole shifts, long period comet flurries, solar system changes and anomalies, perturbation of the outer planets, ice ages, rapid global temperature shifts, binary star theories, Nemesis, etc...

Then all the ancient writings and records that seem to correspond to some cometary, extrasolar, Hercolobus, Destroyer, Nibiru, as well as periodic upheavals in the earth.

Archeology presents findings that might suggest earth changes and the rise and collapse of civilizations due to some cataclysm.

So taken as a whole in my opinion presents an overall picture that I cannot dismiss as coincidence or simple conjecture.
With that in mind I have a certain amount of conviction that there has been and probably will be a celestial recurrence of what has happened in the past. I am not positive it is happening right now, but am certain some strong influential changes are happening that points to something extra-solar as the cause.
There is no convincing alternative explanation or theory that I have found, so my current conviction leans towards what I have explained.

Sounds like you're intellectualizing Nibiru or brown dwarf. It's hard to sound credible when you're drawing on the bible or ancient civilizations. I do get your point though.

yes they discovered a 10th planet at the edge of the galaxy in the 80s but it was suppressed. Why are people so sure it's heading here? It would've been visible a long time ago already.. i don't understand it. Then offcourse there's the theory that it's a supernova, hence not visible without infrared.

I love talking to those who truly believe in the Bible or other religious manifasts. In many stories from anchiets times, references of "ascentions", bright bodies in the heavens, or other astromonical events are prevelent. But if you bring up these events as truly related to astromony you are shot down immediately.

What most religious forget is that a god, any god, in any sense of the word, is an extraterrestrial being.

My biggest question is how did a civilization from the 4th millennium BC (Sumerians) have such a detailed knowledge of astronomical science. To have a calendar and sky map almost as good as what we know today is remarkable. Yet it took the European civilization how long to realize Newton's theories were coreect?
